ActAI as an MCP server
Connect ActAI
anywhere.
ActAI runs as an MCP server, so any AI assistant that supports the Model Context Protocol can connect to it. Your traders ask about their trading from the AI tools they already use, signing in with their own Trader ID and choosing to allow access.
The steps on the right show Claude as the example. Other MCP clients use the same server URL.

Open the connector settings
Open Claude → Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector.

Name it and add the URL
Enter Name: ActAI and URL: https://assistant.acttrader.com/mcp

Continue and sign in
Click Continue and select Sign in now.

Choose the identity
Choose Use Claude’s published identity and leave request headers empty.

Click Add → Connect.

Sign in to ActTrader
Sign in with your Trader ID and password, select your server, and allow access.
Done! ActAI is now connected to Claude.

worth knowing.
What is ActAI?
ActAI is the AI layer in the ActTrader platform. It includes the Smart Trading Assistant, AI Account Insights, the voice command bar, the AI Journal, ActFx, Ask AI on mobile, and an MCP server for connecting other AI tools.
Is the Smart Trading Assistant giving investment advice?
No. It answers questions about a trader’s own performance, risk and positions from their live account data. Decisions stay with the trader, and the app reminds them that AI responses may contain mistakes.
Is the Smart Trading Assistant available now?
It is available in beta. Book a demo to see it with your brand and talk through availability for your clients.
Can the voice command bar place trades on its own?
No. Orders placed by voice need manual confirmation, and there is no always-listening mode.
Are AI queries recorded?
Yes. Every AI query is logged in the same audit trail as trading.
Which AI tools can connect to ActAI?
Any assistant that supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and remote servers can connect, using the server URL https://assistant.acttrader.com/mcp. The trader signs in with their own Trader ID and allows access.
How does a trader connect ActAI to Claude?
In Claude, add a custom connector named ActAI with the URL https://assistant.acttrader.com/mcp, then sign in with their Trader ID and password, select their server and allow access. The full steps are above.
